Clarification of a few issues re: the end of our 2011 season and the upcoming 2012 season.
The season ended unceremoniously due to 3 bad weather weekends in a row. That caused an issue re: required
rounds etc and it forced us to cancel the fall Tier Tournament that we usually end the season with.
Obviously our end-of-year banquet didn't happen so we decided to combine the Annual Banquet with the 2012
Pre-Season Mtg to be held in late February 2012. The date and place will be announced in January.
Anyone in the Top 10 who hasn't collected their payout and would like it before Feb 2012, call DD and I'll make
arrangements to get it to you. If you're based in Charlotte call Elmer and he'll cash you out. Additionally, anyone who
has a 2011 balance (check your profile) should get your coins together because it'll be due at our Feb 2012 combined
mtg (date to be announced).
As always, the top 5 seeders that have improved their rank the most from 2010 to 2011 are automatic candidates.
Then a live vote will take place at the Feb mtg. For those who can't make the mtg, absentee voting will be set up for
you the week before.
Our 2012 season will begin with a single elimination Tier Tournament in which the winner of each tier (tiers 2-4) get
their 2012 dues paid.
The pot is still bubbling with $1,040 simmering. It's waiting to be claimed by a lucky Seeder who gets a HOI during
our regular season.
